Introducing Contacts CRM: Every Lead, Automatically Captured

When a visitor fills out your popup form, spins your wheel, or interacts with an exit offer, you capture their email. That's great. But until now, those leads lived scattered across different widget reports — your form submissions in one place, spin wheel entries in another, exit offer clicks somewhere else.

Today that changes. Popwis now includes a built-in Contacts CRM that automatically unifies every lead you collect, no matter which widget captured them.

What Is the Contacts CRM?

The Contacts CRM is a central list of every person who has given you their email through any Popwis widget. It's accessible from your dashboard under Contacts and shows you:

  • Who they are — email, name, phone (if collected)
  • Where they came from — popup form, spin wheel, exit offer, feedback, or manually added
  • When they first appeared and when they were last seen
  • How many times they've interacted with your widgets
  • Their full activity timeline — every form submission, wheel spin, and offer interaction
  • Tags and notes — add your own labels and annotations per contact

Automatic Capture — Zero Extra Work

There's nothing you need to set up. As long as your Popwis widgets are running, every email submitted to any widget is automatically saved to your Contacts list. If the same visitor submits two different forms, Popwis merges them into one record and logs both activities in the timeline.

Source Tracking

Every contact has a first source — the widget that captured them originally. You can filter your entire contact list by source to answer questions like:

  • "Which of my forms generates the most quality leads?"
  • "Are spin wheel leads more engaged than exit offer leads?"
  • "Which page drives the most form signups?"

Activity Timeline

Click any contact to open the detail panel. You'll see a full activity timeline: every widget interaction that contact has had, with the page URL, timestamp, and any relevant metadata (prize won on spin wheel, rating given in feedback, etc.).

Tags, Notes, and Status

You can tag contacts to segment them — "high intent", "discount used", "newsletter subscriber". Add private notes that only your team can see. Mark contacts as active, unsubscribed, or bounced to keep your list clean.

Search, Filter, and Export

The Contacts page has a powerful toolbar:

  • Search by email or name
  • Filter by source, status, or tag
  • Sort by newest, oldest, most active, or last seen
  • Export to CSV (Growth and Scale plans) — download your full contact list with all fields for import into any email tool

  • Growth ($9/mo) — up to 10,000 contacts + CSV export
  • Scale ($29/mo) — unlimited contacts + CSV export

How to Access It

  1. Open your site dashboard
  2. Click Contacts in the left navigation
  3. Your captured contacts will already be there if you have any active widgets
